SkyFix-XP

Fugro's SkyFix-XP is a GPS positioning system that is based on orbit and clock corrections supplied by NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). SkyFix-XP is a Precise Point Positioning (PPP) technology, which distinguishes itself from the traditional differential approach as satellite errors are not lumped together but estimated per source, per satellite. The GPS orbit and clock corrections are computed separately, free of ionospheric and tropospheric effects.
Further positional enhancements are undertaken in Fugro's MultiFix software resulting in greater positional accuracy, typically 10cm and 20cm (95%) in the horizontal and vertical planes respectively

The minimum recommended equipment for SkyFix-XP is:
• Dual Frequency GPS Receiver and antenna
• Fugro's Corrections Demodulator connected to Inmarsat or Spot Satellite
• PC with Fugro's MultiFix Position Computation and Quality Control Software
